The Beers opened their Fall 2009 season on a humid, unpleasant Wednesday night. The night turned out to be more unpleasant for Not A Chance, as the Beers opened up the game with 18 runs. Both Phil Crosby and Ryan Reese saw three plate appearances in the first inning. After taking a couple innings off, the Beers won game one by a score of 22-11 off of 28 hits.
Notable stats for the game include: Phil Crosby, Chris Stemp, and Jon Rojas going 5 for 5 on the night.
Game two went just as well for the Beers as they kept up the offense and collected 19 hits on the night. Not A Chance proved to be the best choice of team names as they fell 14-2 to the Beers.
